Röda Sten Konsthall invites you to a lecture followed by a talk with Jelena Petrović, Art researcher, Theorist and Curator.

An online lecture over Zoom with Jelena Petrović, art researcher, therorist and curator. After the lecture Curator Amila Puzić will have a conversation with Jelena Petrović. 

The lecture focuses on today’s modes of art production (artist’s gestures and artistic exposures), introducing the politics of error as a form of resistance to neoliberal ways of (self)exploitation within the contemporary art system.

- Lecture with Jelena Petrović. MODES OF ART PRODUCTION: exposures, gestures, errors. The lecture is about 45 minutes.
- Time for dialogue and questions  

The lecture will start from the current exhibition of Lala Raščić. The exhibition is open until March 11 2021.

Short biography

Jelena Petrović is an art researcher, theorist and curator. (Co)author of texts, events, exhibitions and projects related to new epistemological models of art(-theory) production dealing with issues of war and violence, critical and human geography, the politics of affects and the politics of error. Currently, she works at the Institute of Art Theory and Cultural Studies, Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna on her project: The Politics of Belonging-Art Geographies (FWF Elise Richter Program 2019-2023).
